Dan Horrigan began filmmaking in 2015 with Devotion a drama that screened at 35 festivals around the world. Later that year his screenplay Populace was produced by Aaron Bevan Bailey and handpicked for Danny Boyle's Shuffle Festival before storming across America. It's currently screening with Dust at over 300K views. Since then his work has gathered numerous awards with over 100 Festival appearances. In 2023 his Film Read to Me landed Best Director nominations and Best Writing Awards screening at The Curzon Soho and the Britsh Museum. 2024 is shaping up to be a good year - with two films Never Your Hand in Mine and Murder Song progressing through post-production. On the writing front, he's currently working on a crime drama set in a reclamation yard, a YA romance set at a petrol station, and a dystopian sci-fi set in an alternative UK in the 1980s.
